Restaurant Review:
Enab Beirut

City Walk 2

Dubai’s alfresco City Walk is no stranger to beautiful restaurants and shops and we got the opportunity recently to head to a new eatery that’s being unofficially touted as Dubai’s most instagrammable restaurant. Enab Beirut brings the vividness of Lebanon to the heart of City Walk and claims to offer an experience that is straight out of every Lebanese household; ‘the outings, the parties, the magic, the love of life.’ The restaurant is a burst of color, be it the seats or the vibrant lampshade style chandeliers or the tiles and art adorning the different parts of Enab, every corner is as colorful as it is cozy. Enab Beirut also has an upper deck where Shisha is served. Here is everything we had during our visit:

  • Minted Lemonade
  • Basil Lemonade

  • Hummus: Mashed Chickpeas With Tahina & Olive Oil
  • Baba Ghannouj: Grilled & Crushed Eggplant With Tahini, Lemon & Olive Oil
  • Warak Enab: Vine Leaves With Rice, Tomato, Olive Oil
  • Labneh Vegetables: Labneh Mixed With Tomato, Cucumber & Aromatic Greens
  • Mhammara: Crushed Walnuts With Mixed Spicy Paste
  • Cheese Rolls: Deep Fried Or Grilled Cheese Rolls In Special Crusty Dough
  • Batata Coriander: Potato Cubes Sautéed With Coriander, Garlic And Chili Spices
  • Grilled Halloumi
  • Fattoush
  • Tabbouleh
  • Shish Taouk: Marinated Chicken Served With Potatoes & Garlic
  • Mixed Grill: Marinated Meat, Chicken Cubes, Kafta Meat Served With Grilled Vegetables & Fried Potatoes

To cut a long story short, the food at Enab Beirut was quite appetizing and some of our most preferred items were the Hummus, the salads, Labneh with vegetables and the shish taouk. The cheeses and mixed grill were fresh and tasty and the drinks made for good accompaniments to the food.

At this session, the highlight for us was honestly the warm and lively décor that is so bright that it is tough to be anything but happy at this restaurant. With decent fare and pleasant servers, Enab Beirut is a cheerful and welcoming restaurant that we think would appeal to one and all.
