Restaurant Review:
Dum Dum Donutterie

Umm Suqeim

Donut and cronut fans and not in Dubai, chances are you would have spotted the bright pink Dum Dum Donutterie ads, booths, store or boxes around town (or on social media for sure) unless you’re living under a rock. One of us is a big donut fan while the other enjoys an occasional donut or cronut for dessert; and our recent tasting at Dum Dum gave us the chance to blend some great dessert with one of our favorite festivals, Taste of Dubai!

Dum Dum’s recognizable pink booth featured a variety of interesting, great looking donuts and cronuts and the best part about these multihued desserts is that they’re baked not fried! We picked the salted caramel, lotus and red velvet cronuts that were too pretty to eat but too tempting not to. It was unanimous, the salted caramel cronut trumped all with the red velvet and lotus coming a close second and third respectively.

Dum Dum has some really cool regional flavors on offer like the Kunafa and Karak and the adorable dessert parlor gets a yay from us!
