Restaurant Review:
My Mosa

JBR
Dubai

Samosas are one of the most popular snacks amongst people of the Indian subcontinent and the fried treat commonly comes with potatoes and peas as fillings but has now diversified and gone international to include other fun innards such as noodles, cheese, meat and more. Why are we discussing the delicious triangles that make for the perfect, timeless snack you may ask? Well, because this review is about the quirky My Mosa, a food truck that serves up scrumptious Samosas in addition to other tasty fare that have as contents delicious flavors from around the world. The food is made by hand and My Mosa’s uniqueness, as they themselves claim, lies in the surprise that your taste buds get when you bite into the Indian snack but with an international filling. An added bonus? This food truck was deployed at Rise at Dubai Creek Harbour when we had our tasting and the view of the Dubai skyline against the calm sea that we were treated to, had to be one of the most flattering ones that we have seen!

Here’s what we had:

  • Butter Chicken Mosa: Mosas Served With Makhani Dill Dip And An Arugula Salad
  • Nutella Mosa: Mosas Stuffed With Nutella Served With Vanilla Ice Cream And Salted Caramel Drizzle
  • Chili Chicken Frankie Roll: Tandoori Chicken With Onions, Capsicum, Pickles And Served With An Arugula Salad
  • Sweet Chili Potatoes: Crispy Potato Cubes Tossed In A Sweet Chili Sauce
  • Karak Tea

It was a windy, winter’s day when we went to My Mosa and with the weather so perfect and Rise bustling with happy families, we enjoyed the flavorful food even more! Portions are generous and zests are spot on! Truly, there’s no better way to get people closer than over plates of food and if those plates consist some well-made samosas, then that’s even better!
